Esher Loft Conversion – Hip To Gable
Esher Loft Conversion – Hip to Gable
Emma and Nick had a loft conversion at the top of their list when moving into their new family home. As a family of five people, space was crucial to the couple as well as a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house.
Their Ideas
Emma and Nick had originally thought about making their Esher loft conversion two bedrooms for their sons, but came to the conclusion the loft would be less noisy as an adults bedroom. They wanted to maximize available space so had plans drawn up by A1 for a master bedroom with an en-suite and dressing room.
Our Implementation
A beautifully finished hip to gable extension was added to maximize useable floor space. In addition to a master bedroom with an en-suite and dressing room, a Juliet balcony with a small decking area was installed which gave the extension character and the look of a ‘hotel suite’.
Velux roof windows with blackout blinds also meant that the space created was versatile, and the windows and French doors onto the Juliet balcony meant that our clients could make the most of natural light.
The style throughout was contemporary, and light walls gave the opportunity to dress the loft conversion with textures and bold accessories.
My overarching view is fantastic; the job was professionally undertaken and even more surprising to me delivered within the timescale that was outlined.
At all times Curt and the team were courteous, helpful, and were always happy to accept changes and incorporate them into the build. Also you and your team were always on hand to make sure everything was going to schedule, the payment plan was simple and I always knew how much was due and when, this makes the financial side easy to manage. I would recommend A1 to any perspective customers without hesitation and would be welcome to do so at anytime
