With a pregnant wife, Tom decided it was time to extend the kitchen area to provide necessary space for the couple and their growing family.
Their Ideas
Tom’s idea was that by extending the kitchen to the rear, this would create an open family space for him and his family. As the kitchen was also very narrow prior to the extension, it was important that the space would create a lot of light.
Our Implementation
A1 created a beautifully finished kitchen-diner for Tom and his family. The couple opted for bi-folding doors and our suggestion of a roof dome meant that the extension was full of light and created an open space leading onto the garden. With A1 managing the project from start to finish, this meant that the couple could decide the exact layout of appliances and furniture. Space was even made for a sofa as well as a large dining table, which created the perfect social environment for dining and entertaining. Tom was so pleased with his kitchen, he appointed A1 to refurbish his bathroom.
I appointed A1 PMS to build a full width kitchen extension to the rear of my terraced house. The project was about as stress-free as one could reasonably hope for (no building work is completely stress-free obviously, especially with a pregnant wife).
My wife and I dubbed Tom ‘the John Lewis of builders’ because his client service was excellent.
